What does the course cover?

You'll discover how successful Visual Merchandising (VM) creates immersive experiences through strategic product displays and storytelling.

In this course, you will learn:

  • The science and strategy behind VM
  • Industry-specific tools and techniques
  • Analysing global and competitor VM trends
  • How to create 2D scale rendered drawings.

What is the outcome?

Upon successfully demonstrating competence in all areas of skills and knowledge, you will earn a Statement of Attainment encompassing the following nationally accredited units:

  • SIRRMER004 Develop visual merchandising creative concepts
  • CUAACD311 Produce drawings to communicate ideas
  • CUADES302 Explore and apply the creative design process to 2D forms

These units can then be used as direct Credit Transfers, providing a study pathway into our MSF40122 Certificate IV in Interior Decoration.

What does it cost?

The full-fee for the Short CourseĀ inĀ Visual Merchandising is $1,290. However, based on your location at time of study you may be eligible for government-subsidised rates. Limited funded study positions are available.

When do I need?

You will need a computer - aĀ basic laptop in good working condition is fine. There are various drawing tools we recommend you purchase, that would cost less than $100, however most items may already be found in your pencil case.

When does it start?

Our next 5 week course begins soon. Live online classes are held one select weekday 12pm-2pm per week via Zoom.
