Jenna is an interior designer and educator and has worked the past 10 years in both retail and residential design. She has travelled the world designing stores for Cotton On Group and has won a national interior design award for best residential design in Australia for her very own, Canning Cottage.
Her passion for design led her to start Design School. From our Masterclass to accredited Certificate IV course, through Jenna’s experienced and hands-on guidance we’re sure you will leave every class feeling inspired!

Tim Neve
Interior Stylist – Author
Design School Manager, Trainer & Assessor
Tim is a well-known stylist, textile designer and author! His work is recognised both locally and internationally from Adore Magazine to Architectural Digest. Tim’s bespoke range of textile prints have graced the shelves of leading design retailers including Jumbled and The Block Shop.
Hands-on styling for retail spaces and photoshoots, and an eye for creating materials boards are areas of expertise he loves delve into with his students. Tim’s warmth and industry-led experience set him apart as a trainer.

Jessica Ciantar
Interior Designer - Interior Stylist
Course Coordinator
As our Course Coordinator, Jessica is not only an Interior Designer, she’s also the first smiling face you’re likely to meet at Design School! For over the past seven years, Jess’ design career has seen her work on hotel refurbishments, commercial styling and even designing interior concepts for global furniture giant IKEA!
Jessica has since found her way to the Design School family and absolutely loves working alongside our Trainers to inspire and deliver our brand of hands-on learning to our students. She is your go-to for all of our courses and is always sharing her design magic with our Design School community. Jess is always there to lend an ear and a hand.

Melissa Heard
Interior Decorator – Stylist
Trainer & Assessor
Deciding to learn the essentials of Interior Decoration is what lead Mel to being a part of one of our first classes offered at Design School! She loved it here so much she has never left! Since completing her studies with us, Mel has gone on to start her own successful styling and design business, Charchi.
Mel’s passion for product styling, passive design, SketchUp and sustainability has been shared with her clients and hundreds of students alike. Her willingness to share her knowledge, authoring articles for Plyroom Journal and Dulux in the weekend Domain, combined with her magnetic charisma is what makes Mel an incredible mentor.
You won’t see her without a smile on her face or the patience to inspire your unique creative journey.

Melissa Bailey
Interior Stylist – Consultant
Trainer & Assessor
Since making the bold move pursue to design after leaving the legal industry, Melissa’s creative career has been thriving! It was studying at Design School that gave Melissa her first taste for styling and photoshoots. Since graduating, she has worked as a stylist across residential, visual merchandising and event sectors.
Melissa's work has been featured in publications including Green Magazine and The Local Project. A keen writer, Melissa has also authored pieces for BuildHer Collective and on behalf of Mahlia Interiors for Interior’s Addict. She is absolutely thrilled to be part of the team at Design School, just look for the kind and welcoming smile!

Melissa Rettore
Interior Designer – Interior Stylist
Trainer & Assessor
Melissa’s passion for teaching runs a decade deep! A fascination with spatial design and the effects a design has on mood and behaviour, motivated Mel to make the career leap from primary school teaching to interior design. Mel now runs her own successful design business, Moody Aesthetic Interiors, alongside her husband’s construction company.
Offering client’s an exciting peek into their custom-designed spaces, Mel’s interior watercolour and hand-rendered sketches have featured amazing homes like that of Jen Bishop of Interior’s Addict. Mel brings her talents to the Design School classroom, sharing her skills to help students on their own design journeys.
